A Sovereign Nation
A map of Morkskovia. Dark blue areas are inhabited by five or more citizens, light blue areas are inhabited by zero to five citizens, and the aqua area in East Morkskovia is not inhabited by any citizens.
The Kingdom of Morkskovia, Much like the Lakota Nation or the Navajo Nation, is a sovereign, independent Country within the United States, the only difference being that Morkskovia strives to free itself from depending on other nations to survive.
In accordance with the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations, article 1 of the International Covnvention on Civil and Political Rights states that all peoples have the right of self-determination. This right of self-determination is a very important condition for the guarantee and observance of individual human rights and for the promotion and strengthening of these rights. Article 1 continues to say that all peoples may freely "determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development". If that is taken into consideration, it may be understood that if the Morkskovian People desire their independence, it may be so.
